Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Cody Martin (knee) is considered probable for Wednesday's matchup against Atlanta. He missed a pair of games at the start of the month but has since then featured in four consecutive contests, playing very healthy minutes. So, Martin has been looking good health-wise lately and is expected to play versus the Hawks. The 28-year-old has averaged 10.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in 27.5 minutes across the past four games. It's a fantasy dream matchup for Martin and the Hornets on Wednesday, as two of the worst defensive teams in the league go head to head, with Atlanta also holding a top-three spot in pace.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) will be rested on Wednesday versus Utah. The Lakers finish off a back-to-back on Wednesday, and the veteran star will use the night to rest his left ankle, which has bothered him for a while. Despite the injury, James has featured in 13 of the team's 15 games in 2024. James fully plans to play in the All-Star Game on Sunday, and he will then have a nice break until Feb. 22, when the Lakers continue their campaign versus Golden State. Taurean Prince will likely hop back into the starting unit as James' replacement on Wednesday.

Detroit Pistons center/forward Isaiah Stewart was arrested for assault and issued a citation before he was released after getting into a physical altercation with Drew Eubanks after their game on February 14. He now has a court date set on February 23 in Phoenix on a misdemeanor assault charge according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. If a bigger punishment comes from this court date, he'll likely receive some sort of punishment either from the Pistons or the NBA shortly afterward. Stewart hasn't played since January 28 due to an ankle sprain and he could possibly miss an extended period of time after this altercation.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry was asked if he thought about retirement while he enjoyed the All-Star festivities and he had quite the straightforward answer. He explained that he has thought of it, but those thoughts go away as he prepares for each game. When it gets down to it, he doesn't think he's "anywhere close" to calling it quits, but he also knows that his body may tell him it's time before he thinks he'll be ready. This doesn't come as much of a surprise because he hasn't even hinted at retirement and he's still playing close to the level he was on while winning championships and MVP awards. Even after he's done carrying a whole team, his shooting ability could allow him to play for a very long time.

Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, but the team is interested in keeping him around. Claxton originally signed a two-year extension in 2022 that paid him $8.5 million in the first year and $9.6 million in the current season. His name came up around the trade deadline due to the expiring contract, but it seems like the Nets want to make sure he sticks around as an important piece of the rebuild. The 24-year-old has been a great shot-blocker and rim-runner as he proved his worth when the team had enough talent to properly utilize his strengths. Claxton remains a solid center option in all fantasy formats and if the team could get some more point guards or distributors on the team, it would greatly bolster his fantasy value.
