Onyeka Okongwu Out On Wednesday

Atlanta Hawks forward/center Onyeka Okongwu (toe) won't play on Wednesday against Charlotte. He was injured in Monday's meeting with the Chicago Bulls, with an MRI revealing a sprained left big toe. As a result, the 23-year-old is predicted to miss at least 7-10 days. It's a tough blow for Atlanta, considering Okongwu had been filling in for Clint Capela (adductor). Not only that, he's averaged 16.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in eight starts. Nonetheless, the Hawks will likely run smaller lineups to make up for their lack of size. Fortunately, the All-Star break is on the horizon, giving both men time to recover. But Bruno Fernando could get extra work until either man is ready to play, making him a practical streaming option in any fantasy format.

Keyonte George Set To Start For Rest Of The Way

Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George was back in the starting unit on Monday versus Golden State and looks set to remain there for the rest of the season. "It's time," Jazz head coach Will Hardy said postgame. "Keyonte is a big part of our program. Lauri (Markkanen) and John (Collins) and Walker (Kessler), all three of those guys need facilitators to get them the ball and Keyonte has been a really good facilitator on the wholeStepping into that role is ultimately what's best for our team moving forward." George struggled on Monday, posting only five points and four assists with 2-for-10 shooting, but he has excelled in a starting role. In 16 starts across the season, the 20-year-old rookie has averaged 12.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists. He's taking over from Kris Dunn in the starting lineup. However, the move shouldn't affect Dunn too much, as Hardy expects him to still have the same role on the team and play around 20 minutes a night.

Cam Reddish Expected Back After All-Star Break

Los Angeles Lakers guard/forward Cam Reddish (ankle) is expected to return to action after the All-Star break. He last played on Jan. 23 and will be absent for a 10th consecutive game on Tuesday versus Detroit due to a right ankle sprain. Reddish has seen plenty of action with the Lakers in 2023-24, averaging 23.3 minutes a night, but injuries have held him back big time -- the 24-year-old has featured in just 35 of the team's 54 games.

Max Christie Remains Out Tuesday

Los Angeles Lakers guard/forward Max Christie (ankle) will skip a second consecutive game on Tuesday versus Detroit. The youngster sprained his right ankle last week against Denver. Christie has averaged 18.3 minutes per game across his last six appearances, so he's had a pretty significant part to play in the rotation lately. Newly signed Spencer Dinwiddie should pick up most of the available minutes on Tuesday, and his addition could make it very complicated for Christie for the rest of the way once he's available again.

Spencer Dinwiddie Available For Lakers Debut Tuesday

Los Angeles Lakers guard Spencer Dinwiddie is expected to make his team debut in Tuesday's matchup against Detroit. The veteran has his first practice session with the Lakers on Monday. Dinwiddie's fantasy value takes a hit in Los Angeles, as he won't be a starter, but injuries have left quite a few gaps in the lineup, and we should still see plenty of him on Tuesday. However, Dinwiddie needs to start hitting shots if he wants to carve out a significant role in L.A. The 30-year-old is shooting just 39 percent from the field this season with a 32 percent success rate from downtown.
