Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Josh Green (shoulder) will return to action on Monday against the Utah Jazz. A sore left shoulder kept him off the court on Sunday versus the New Orleans Pelicans, but the team has made him active for Monday after initially listing Green as probable for the game. Green is a versatile player but lacks fantasy appeal. He has averaged 6.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.2 steals in 26.2 minutes over 13 appearances this month.

According to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Miami Heat guard/forward,Alec Burks (back), is available to suit up against the Washington Wizards on Monday. Burks will play despite dealing with a lingering back issue. The 33-year-old guard has been averaging 20.0 minutes, 16 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists per contest in the last three games. This evening, he could see extra scoring opportunities with Davion Mitchell (illness) potentially sidelined with a stomach ailment.

Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (ankle) will miss at least one more game, as the team has downgraded him from questionable to out ahead of Monday's meeting with the Brooklyn Nets. A stress fracture in his right ankle has kept Lively II sidelined since mid-January, but he is nearing his return. In his pregame presser on Monday, Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd told reporters that Lively II could return to action this week. His next opportunity to make a comeback will be on Wednesday versus the Atlanta Hawks. The Mavericks will then conclude this week's slate with a back-to-back set against the L.A. teams on Friday and Saturday.

Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Caleb Martin (hip) will be active on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets. The team has upgraded Martin's status from probable to available, clearing the way for him to make a third consecutive appearance. Since returning to the lineup, Martin has logged 23 minutes across two games, so he does not have a significant role to play in the rotation. Overall, he has averaged 17.1 minutes since moving to Dallas, notching 4.3 points with 2.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists.

Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford (knee) will return to the lineup on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets. He has missed seven weeks due to an MCL sprain. Because of his long absence, Dallas will limit Gafford's playing time to 15 to 20 minutes on Monday. This means Kai Jones may still have a significant role in the rotation. For the season, Gafford has averaged 21.9 minutes per game, recording 12.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks.
