Kevin Durant Out At Least One Week

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (ankle) is expected to miss at least one week after suffering a sprained left ankle in Sunday's blowout loss to the Houston Rockets. The latest update means Durant won't suit up during the Suns' upcoming three-game road trip, beginning on Tuesday in Milwaukee. Phoenix is currently on the outside looking in for a Play-In spot. But if the Suns get eliminated before Durant is cleared to return, there's a chance he won't be back on the floor this season. With rumors regarding KD's departure this offseason, he may have already played his final game with the organization. With that said, Royce O'Neale should slide into the starting lineup, with Devin Booker expected to see a surge in production while Durant is on the shelf.

Josh Giddey Ready To Go On Monday

According to K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network, Chicago Bulls guard/forwardJosh Giddey (hip) said he will play against his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, on Monday. Giddey participated in the Bulls' morning shootaround after he was listed as questionable for right-hip soreness and injury management. In his last outing, the 22-year-old finished with eight points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two blocks across 27 minutes in a 120-119 loss to the Mavs on Saturday. He should be a solid fantasy option for this evening as he goes up against his former club.

Day'Ron Sharpe Still Out On Monday

Brooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe (knee) will remain out for Monday's matchup against Dallas. He's already missed three games because of a sprained knee, so it's unknown if he'll be back on the floor before the end of the regular season. While Nicolas Claxton will remain in the middle to begin the game, Drew Timme, averaging 15.0 points and eight rebounds in two professional appearances, is worth considering for DFS lineups.

Noah Clowney Sidelined On Monday

Brooklyn Nets forward Noah Clowney (ankle) won't play on Monday against the Mavericks. He got the start in Saturday's win over the Wizards, finishing with 13 points and five rebounds. However, the 20-year-old sprained his right ankle late in the contest and didn't return. With Cameron Johnson (back) sidelined for this one, Clowney had a chance to remain with the first five. But now it appears Jalen Wilson, averaging 11.2 points in 18 starts during the 2024-25 campaign, could fill the spot in the rotation. Trendon Watford should also see additional minutes.

Cameron Johnson Ruled Out On Monday Night

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (back) won't play on Monday night against Dallas. He had an excellent game in the recent win over the Washington Wizards, finishing with 18 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Unfortunately, he took a hard fall late in the contest and was ruled out. With Brooklyn already eliminated from Play-In contention, it's anyone's guess if Johnson has a few more games in him before the end of the regular season. But with Noah Clowney (ankle) also ruled out, Jalen Wilson may slide into the starting lineup, with the 24-year-old averaging 11.2 points in 18 starts this season. Trendon Watford should also see extra work after amassing seven points and two blocks versus the Wizards.
