Marcus Smart Out Against Indiana

Washington Wizards guardMarcus Smart(illness) will be out of action against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday. Smart also sat out during Wednesday's contest due to a finger issue, but an illness will keep him off the floor for tonight's game. The 31-year-old veteran guard's absence won't impact fantasy much this evening as he is averaging 9.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.2 steals this season. His next chance to get back on the floor is Saturday versus Brooklyn.

Brandon Williams Available Against Magic

Dallas Mavericks point guard Brandon Williams (back) has shaken off a questionable tag and will play in Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. He was initially iffy for the contest due to low back tightness. Williams has enjoyed a few productive weeks with the Mavericks and is coming off a 22-point effort against the New York Knicks. However, the team's offense is set to have a different look with Anthony Davis (adductor) back on the court. It remains to be seen how Williams will fit into these plans.

Caleb Martin Good To Go Thursday

Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Caleb Martin (hip) has been cleared to return from a five-game absence on Thursday against the Orlando Magic. He is poised to make his sixth appearance for the Mavericks, as health issues have hindered Martin's start at his new club. So far, Martin has averaged 4.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 19.2 minutes with the team. He may play a bigger role in the rotation against Orlando due to P.J. Washington's (ankle) absence, but Martin is unlikely to have a significant impact in fantasy basketball.

Anthony Davis To Be Restricted To 24-28 Minutes Thursday

Dallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) will return to action on Thursday against the Orlando Magic but will have a minutes restriction. Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd told reporters pregame that Davis will be limited to 24-28 minutes. When Davis ended an 18-game absence on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets, he played 27 minutes and recorded 12 points with six rebounds and three assists. The 10-time All-Star can certainly do damage with fewer than 30 minutes on the court, but Davis will not deliver full value to fantasy managers against the Magic.

He's only played in 24 games this season, averaging 12.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 23.5 minutes per game. His next chance to return to the floor is Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets.
