Dallas Mavericks guardDante Exum(hamstring) will suit up against the Houston Rockets on Friday. Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News reports that Exum has been dealing with right hamstring tightness and will be restricted to 20-to-25 minutes for Friday's matchup. The 29-year-old is averaging 9.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 19.8 minutes across 17 games. Exum could be a solid fantasy contributor once his minutes are increased moving forward due to a Mavs roster filled with injuries.

Orlando Magic guard Cory Joseph will start in Friday's game against Minnesota. Jalen Suggs (knee) has already been out. However, with Cole Anthony (toe) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) unavailable, Joseph will taking over at the one, with Tristan da Silva handling things at the shooting guard position. Joseph was with the first five in Thursday's loss to the Pelicans, finishing with 12 points, six boards, and three assists while shooting 50% from behind the arc. Although Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero should remain the team's top scorers, managers can consider Joseph for DFS lineups.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) will miss Friday's contest against the Houston Rockets. He has been ruled out for a seventh consecutive game as Washington continues to nurse an ankle sprain. His next chance to return will come on Sunday in a matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. Due to Washington's absence on Friday, Kessler Edwards and Dwight Powell will likely continue to receive additional playing time. Edwards has been a good streaming option for fantasy managers lately, averaging 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steals over the past four games.

Orlando Magic guard/forward Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) will take off Friday night and won't be in the lineup against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The veteran is being rested for the second leg of a back-to-back. Tristan da Silva is set to start Friday's game in Caldwell-Pope's place. The starting role will boost da Silva's fantasy value, although his numbers have only slightly increased when he has been part of the starting group this season. In 35 starts, the 23-year-old rookie has averaged 8.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.

Orlando Magic point guard Cole Anthony (toe) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was a late scratch on Thursday against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a toe injury and will miss a second straight game after being initially listed as questionable. Cory Joseph and Anthony Black will share the minutes at point guard. Joseph has logged a pair of starts lately and finished Thursday's game with 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Black has also had his moments this season, but he currently doesn't look very appealing from a fantasy perspective.
