Santi Aldama Good To Go Friday

Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Santi Aldama (calf) will play in Friday's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. He was at risk of missing a third consecutive game after Memphis initially listed him as questionable on the injury report. Aldama has been one of the best bench players in the league this season, but he is set for a spell as a starter, with Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) out week-to-week. In previous games as a starter this term, Aldama has averaged 12.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.

Tyler Herro Back On Friday Night

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (illness) will play on Friday versus Minnesota. He missed Wednesday's loss to the Cavs due to a head cold and was questionable heading into this game. But the Heat will welcome him back with open arms, especially with Andrew Wiggins (ankle), Kel'el Ware (knee), and Alec Burks (back) ruled out. Of course, Herro is a must-start, and he may see more scoring opportunities with Miami dealing with injuries across the board.

Keyonte George Upgraded To Available Friday

Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George (illness) will rejoin the lineup for Friday's tilt against the Toronto Raptors. He missed the previous game due to an illness and was initially listed as questionable for Friday. The young guard should play a big role in the Jazz offense against Toronto, as the team is once again without several key contributors for the contest. Since the All-Star break, George has notched 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.7 assists while shooting 43.1 percent from downtown.

Jerami Grant Returns To Trail Blazers Lineup

Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (knee) will return from a four-game absence on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has shaken off a knee problem and makes his comeback at a good time, as Portland has lost Deni Avdija (quadriceps) for Friday's contest. Grant has been a disappointment for fantasy managers in 2024-25. Following four straight campaigns of averaging 19-plus points per game, Grant's output has dropped to 14.4 points on 37.3 percent shooting. However, he may be more productive than usual on Friday, as Portland faces a short-handed Thunder team.

Jalen Brunson Out At Least Two Weeks

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (ankle) will miss time after suffering a sprained right ankle in Thursday's overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The 28-year-old has had a fantastic 2024-25 campaign, averaging 26.1 points, 7.4 assists, and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 38.8% from behind the arc. With the Knicks gearing up for a deep postseason run, the team certainly won't rush him back, meaning he may be out a little longer. While Brunson is sidelined, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Josh Hart should all receive more scoring chances. Precious Achiuwa and Miles McBride may also split time in the starting lineup, although both should be more productive without Brunson on the floor.
