Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert (back) won't play on Tuesday against Philadelphia. The multi-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year is dealing with a back injury, keeping him off the floor for the Timberwolves' last seven contests. Naz Reid has handled business in the middle, although Minnesota recently welcomed back Julius Randle (groin). With Randle questionable on Tuesday, Luka Garza may see more action than usual. However, Garza can't be trusted from a fantasy standpoint.

Los Angeles Clippers guard/forward Norman Powell (hamstring) has been ruled out for Tuesday's meeting with the Phoenix Suns. After missing five games due to a knee injury, Powell was back in the lineup on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers, but he strained his right hamstring and played only nine minutes. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Amir Coffey will be expected to step up during Powell's absence. Powell's first opportunity to return is on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons, but since he is dealing with a muscle injury, it wouldn't be surprising if he sits out several games.

San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle (thumb) is uncertain for Tuesday's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, as the team has listed him as questionable on the injury report. The rookie is nursing a left thumb sprain. Castle has recently taken his game to a new level, averaging 26.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists over the past three contests. If he doesn't play on Tuesday, Julian Champagnie and Malaki Branham could have a greater opportunity to make an impact. Champagnie is the better fantasy option, although he has been largely anonymous in recent times.

Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball (wrist) may miss a second consecutive game on Tuesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, as the team lists him as questionable for the matchup. Ball is bothered by a right wrist sprain and only partially participated in Monday's practice. Josh Giddey (quadriceps) and Kevin Huerter (knee) are also questionable for Tuesday's game. If all three miss the game, Tre Jones and Dalen Terry would be candidates to start against Cleveland. The latter already found himself in the first unit on Sunday against the Indiana Pacers, although Terry had a quiet evening with two points in 19 minutes.

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (thumb) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is expected to play despite a thumb sprain. This is a matchup White has enjoyed all season, averaging 24.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 steals in 33.5 minutes. If he is available for the contest, White will look for his third straight 20-point game. He has previously managed four such scoring streaks this season.
