The NBA has seven games Wednesday, and all of them are expected to be competitive. The biggest spread we have listed is five and half. Most of these games are skewing to higher scores as well with only two games below the 230-plus total level.
Those are the matchups between the defensive minded Grizzlies and Heat, as well as the game between the slowest-paced Cavs and the 76ers, both of which are also solid defensively. Remember you can still get the three-day trial on FTNBets if you are looking for all the plays, charts, graphs and projections for the night. Here are the three NBA best bets for Wednesday.
Best NBA Points Prop Bets
Zach LaVine Over 27.5 Points
Zach LaVine has a projection more than 10% above his prop number. This is a good spot for upside as Sacramento has allowed the sixth-most points per 100 possessions to opposing teams, and that number has been worse over the last two weeks. During this recent stretch, the Sacramento Kings are giving up a league high 123.8 points per 100. LaVine has scored at least 27 in each of the last five games, averaging 35 points over that stretch and coming in over this prop number in four of the last five.
Dillon Brooks Under 14.5 Points
This is one of the bigger edges we have to the downside on the slate. Dillon Brooks projects for under 10 points in our first run of the Player Prop model. That is a big edge on the 15 he needs to cash. In 14 of the last 16 games Brooks has come in under 15 points and today’s matchup is no cakewalk against the Miami Heat. Miami ranks sixth for fewest points allowed to opposing offenses per 100 possessions, which is why the under is there.
Best NBA Rebound Prop Bet
Anthony Edwards Over 5.5 Rebounds
Anthony Edwards has grabbed six or more rebounds in three straight games. Edwards is averaging 5.9 rebounds per game on the year. This is a plus spot for him as the Celtics are playing without one of their best rebounders in Robert Williams. Rudy Gobert and Naz Reid are both questionable, which could also leave the Timberwolves undersized and needing rebounding help from the other positions.
