Tuesday is a slow night for NBA action. We have just three games on tap, only six teams in action. We do not have a ton of edges in our NBA Betting model for the day, but I did find one I was interested in. My first look through the player prop models also yielded two solid options, so those are the three best bets I wanted to discuss. Make sure to get over to FTNBets.com Discord to get updates on other plays throughout the day.
Best NBA Spread Bet
Dallas Mavericks +5.5
The Mavericks have looked good lately, beating New York and Phoenix by more than 20 in the last two games. Denver on the other hand has lost two in a row and has not looked good doing it. Michael Porter is out, and guys like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Jeff Green are banged up as well. The depth and supporting cast for the Nuggets are why they have struggled. Sure, they still have Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, but it’s what is behind them that gives me confidence taking +5.5 on Dallas.
Best NBA Point Prop Bet
Evan Mobley Under 15.5 Points
Evan Mobley has been great over the last two weeks. His minutes, field goals and points are likely to take a hit with Jarrett Allen coming back, though. Mobley has played 38 or more minutes in three of the last five games. He’s put up some of the best rebounding and points numbers of the season with Allen out. I’m not expecting Mobley to take a massive drop here, but since the announcement of Allen sitting out shootaround, the under has been climbing from that -110 open.
Best NBA 3-point Prop Bet
Isaiah Stewart Over 1.5
Isaiah Stewart had some foul trouble last game that kept him a bit below his normal playing time. He still managed to knock down a pair of 3-pointers for the fifth time in his last six games. He did have a break in between this run, but since returning he’s done this in two of those last three contests. Stewart has a very unique skillset and offers the Pistons a chance to extend the floor and keep those big men honest. He’s averaging just shy of 5 attempts per game during the last 6, so he’s giving himself the opportunity and at almost a 2-1 payout it is worth the shot.
