The Minnesota Timberwolves have listed center Rudy Gobert (ankle) as questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the Memphis Grizzlies. Gobert fought through a sprained left ankle in Tuesday's victory over the San Antonio Spurs, but his status is uncertain for the second half of Minnesota's back-to-back. It's worth noting the 31-year-old interior presence logged 39 minutes Tuesday, so if the T-Wolves elect to give Gobert the night off, expect Naz Reid to start at power forward in the frontcourt alongside the returning Karl-Anthony Towns against a depleted Memphis squad that ranks 24th in fantasy points allowed to the position, per DraftKings scoring.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (ankle) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's contest versus the Memphis Grizzlies. After tweaking his left ankle in Tuesday's win over the San Antonio Spurs, Edwards is still experiencing soreness but isn't dealing with a serious injury. Minnesota could opt to play things safely with Ant-Man and keep him out on the second part of their back-to-back, and if they go this route, Nickeil Alexander-Walker could jump into the T-Wolves first unit and is averaging a modest 9.3 points, 3.2 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 treys, and 1.1 steals in 16 games as a starter this season.

Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert (ankle) has officially been listed as questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Spurs. After missing Saturday's clash with the Nets due to an ankle sprain, Gobert practiced on Monday and "looked good," according to Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch. However, the team has refrained from declaring him available for Tuesday's game. Naz Reid had 27 minutes off the bench without Gobert on Saturday and would benefit from his absence again. It's a matchup against Victor Wembanyama, who has been terrific defensively during his rookie campaign, but all of the Timberwolves bigs have posted solid numbers in the previous head-to-head meetings this season.

Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch says center Rudy Gobert (ankle) went through practice Monday and expects the big man to participate in Tuesday's session. "[Gobert] looked good", Finch said. Gobert sprained his left ankle in Friday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks and sat out Saturday's win over the Brooklyn Nets. Minnesota will officially update the three-time Defensive Player of the Year's game status for Tuesday's meeting with the San Antonio Spurs later on Monday.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, speaking on NBA Countdown, New York Knicks forward Julius Randle (shoulder) hasn't ruled out surgery. However, Wojnarowski added that while the situation is still "fluid," Randle would play through "pain and discomfort" and postpone any necessary surgery until the offseason. Of course, a surgical procedure may be required, regardless of his willingness to suit up. But the latest update at least gives fantasy managers some optimism regarding Randle's potential return to the floor at some point during the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign. In the meantime, Precious Achiuwa and Bojan Bogdanovic should continue to see more work moving forward.
