Minnesota is trying to claim the top spot in the West heading toward the postseason. But the team will need Edwards in the lineup for that to happen. With that said, the 22-year-old rarely misses time, so it would be surprising if he weren't on the floor. However, if Edwards can't suit up, Nickeil Alexander-Walker would see a surge in DFS attention, The same would be true for Mike Conley, who would be in line for an uptick in scoring opportunities.

Minnesota Timberwolves center Naz Reid (head) is available for Friday's contest with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wolves center Rudy Gobert (rib) is also good to go. With the two big men available, Kyle Anderson and Jaden McDaniels could see their minutes reduced in the rotation. Having Reid and Gobert suit up provides Minnesota with some balance up front with Karl Anthony Towns long-term absence (knee).
