One man's misfortune is another man's opportunity, and Naz Reid has enjoyed the limelight during Gobert's absence. He has recently been a regular 20-point scorer while racking up double-doubles for fun. Reid's overall numbers as a starter this season stand at an impressive 18.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks.

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley (rest) has not been included on the injury report for Friday's game against the Miami Heat. The veteran seems ready to return to the lineup after missing the tail end of a back-to-back on Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets. Conley has not been a good fantasy asset in 2024-25, and the return of Donte DiVincenzo has further diminished his value. The 37-year-old is averaging a career-low 24.9 minutes and 8.1 points.

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Julius Randle (groin) is available for Wednesday's game against Charlotte. The former Knick missed time because of a groin injury. Fortunately, he returned for the March 2 meeting with the Suns. He played well in that one, finishing with 20 points before dropping 16 points on the Sixers on Tuesday night. With that said, Randle is a must-start for the favorable matchup versus one of the worst teams in the National Basketball Association.

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Julius Randle (groin) is questionable heading into Tuesday's matchup with the 76ers. The former Knick missed 13 games because of a groin injury. But he was back in the lineup for Sunday's win over Phoenix, amassing 20 points and six boards in 33 minutes. With Minnesota playing back-to-back contests on Tuesday and Wednesday, it's possible Randle misses one of those contests. As a result, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, averaging 12.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 40.6% shooting from deep in 10 starts this season, could find himself back in the starting lineup.

The multi-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year is dealing with a back injury, keeping him off the floor for the Timberwolves' last seven contests. Naz Reid has handled business in the middle, although Minnesota recently welcomed back Julius Randle (groin). With Randle questionable on Tuesday, Luka Garza may see more action than usual. However, Garza can't be trusted from a fantasy standpoint.
