Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has a $51.4 million player option for next season, but at this point, it's unknown what James is thinking on that option. ESPN's Brian Windhorst believes James "is angling to sign a multi-year deal in the offseason with the Lakers that will be nine figures." Although James continues to defy his age on the court, the future Hall of Famer will be 40 years old during the 2024-25 campaign.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is active heading into Sunday's matinee with the Suns. The multi-time MVP has been dealing with a left ankle injury. He didn't play on Thursday versus the Warriors, the Lakers' first game after the All-Star break. But he returned on Friday versus the Spurs and finished with a game-high 30 points with nine assists and seven boards. Under normal circumstances, James might have received a limited workload. However, Los Angeles only has 11 active players for Sunday's contest, so he should get all the minutes he can handle.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is questionable for the Sunday afternoon showdown with the Suns. The multi-time MVP has dealt with a left ankle injury for a while now, so his presence on the injury report isn't surprising. He wasn't in the lineup on Thursday versus the Warriors, the Lakers' first game after the All-Star break. However, James played the following night against the Spurs and finished with a game-high 30 points with nine assists and seven boards. Without question, Anthony Davis would benefit significantly if James doesn't suit up. At the same time, Austin Reaves, D'Angelo Russell, and Rui Hachimura should also draw serious consideration for all fantasy formats, including those participating in DFS contests.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (nose) is probable for Sunday's matchup with Indiana. He took an inadvertent shot to the face before the All-Star break and has made routine appearances on the injury report ever since. However, barring a significant setback, Doncic should be good to go versus one of the worst defensive teams in the league. As always, he's a must-start for all fantasy setups.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is most likely going to suit up for Friday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, according to head coach Darvin Ham. The superstar forward is probable for this game, but will go through his pregame warmups with the intention of suiting up. If he's cleared to play, Taurean Prince will drop to the bench. Prince won't offer much streaming value while playing with the second unit.
