Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is currently considered probable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz. James has been a frequent name on the injury report, but normally he's able to play. It's worth noting that James did miss a game last week, but fantasy managers should expect him back on Wednesday. If active, James is obviously a must-start in all fantasy formats. Otherwise, Austin Reaves (elbow), Rui Hachimura, and Jarred Vanderbilt would be asked to take on a heavier workload if James is downgraded ahead of Wednesday's game.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz. He is nursing an ankle issue, so the Lakers have decided to hold him out during the final game before the All-Star break. His absence should free up additional playing time for Dalton Knecht, Shake Milton, and Jarred Vanderbilt. None of them are great streaming choices, but Knecht probably has the most upside out of the three. Fantasy managers should expect Finney-Smith to be back in the rotation after the break.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic (calf) is listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz. Doncic made his team debut on Monday after missing the last 23 games due to a left calf strain. He finished with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists across 24 minutes of action. It's worth noting that Wednesday is the Lakers last game before the All-Star break. Possibly, the Lakers take the cautious approach and rest Doncic to give him additional time to recover over the break. If he sits, Shake Milton and Jordan Goodwin would likely be asked to play bigger roles on Wednesday.

Veteran center Alex Len has signed a deal to join the Los Angeles Lakers. Len was available as a free agent after the Washington Wizards waived him. The Wizards acquired Len from the Sacramento Kings last week. He had a limited role on the Kings, averaging 7.2 minutes per game over 36 contests this season. The Ukrainian big man should receive more playing time with the Lakers, who needed to add another big body after the team's unsuccessful trade for Charlotte Hornets center Mark Williams. Len will compete for playing time with Jaxson Hayes, who has averaged 8.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 24.6 minutes this month as the starting center.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic (calf) will play on Monday night versus the Jazz. It will be his first time back on the floor since injuring his calf during the Mavs' Christmas Day loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. It will also be his first time in a Lakers uniform after averaging 28.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.2 steals in 422 regular-season appearances for the Mavericks. Head coach JJ Redick indicated a minutes cap for the multi-time All-Star, meaning Gabe Vincent, Austin Reaves (elbow), and LeBron James (ankle) may continue to spend time at the one. But that shouldn't stop fantasy managers from starting Doncic in all formats.
