Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome (knee) will miss Thursday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. Ahead of tip-off, the team has downgraded Jerome's status from questionable to out. Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters that he doesn't expect Jerome to be out long-term, so he might be ready to return later in the week. De'Andre Hunter and Sam Merrill are expected to contribute a bit more off the Cavaliers bench in Thursday's contest.

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome (knee) may sit out Thursday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, as he is listed as questionable on the injury report. With Donovan Mitchell (groin) out of commission, Jerome took on a larger offensive role in Tuesday's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, producing 25 points off the bench. However, he might not get a chance to build on that momentum due to a sore left knee. Craig Porter Jr. might join the rotation in Jerome's absence, but he is unlikely to play a significant role with Mitchell returning to the lineup.

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (groin) is not listed on the injury report, indicating that he is ready to return to action on Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs. Mitchell is managing a groin injury and sat out Tuesday's victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. He was replaced in the starting lineup by Sam Merrill, who had a decent showing with 14 points, two rebounds, and three assists. Recently, Mitchell has performed poorly, shooting only 33.3 percent from the field to average 20.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists this month.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Evan Mobley will sit out Thursday's contest against the San Antonio Spurs. Cleveland is cruising at the top of the Eastern Conference and has begun resting its key players, and it has given the team a chance to rest one of its key players in Mobley. De'Andre Hunter and Dean Wade will compete for Mobley's starting position on Thursday. Wade's game doesn't translate well to fantasy, so managers should focus on Hunter, who averaged 24.5 points against the Spurs in two meetings when he was still a member of the Atlanta Hawks earlier this season.

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (groin) will not suit up for Tuesday's clash against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has been ruled out for groin injury management purposes. Ty Jerome, De'Andre Hunter, and Isaac Okoro are expected to fill larger roles with Mitchell unavailable. The latter started in Mitchell's place in back-to-back games when he was out earlier this month with a groin injury. However, Jerome and Hunter are definitely the better fantasy options, as Okoro struggles to fill the stat sheet even if he logs 30-plus minutes.
