Josh Giddey Out On Thursday

Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey (ankle) will not play against Boston on Thursday. After injuring his right ankle on Monday against Toronto, Giddey will be forced to miss his first game of the season. Zach LaVine (back) will return to the court on Thursday and should handle more playmaking duties with Giddey unavailable. Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, and Lonzo Ball are poised to soak in some of his minutes as well. At the same time, the door is open for Talen Horton-Tucker to remain in the rotation following his 15-point performance in 25 minutes on Monday.

Kevin Huerter Available Thursday Versus Lakers

Fox 40 Sacramento's Sean Cunningham reported that Sacramento Kings guardKevin Huerter(shoulder) is available for Thursday's matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 26-year-old had been listed as questionable earlier on Thursday due to a left shoulder strain, but he has since been upgraded to available after missing the Kings last game. Huerter is likely not a strong fantasy option this evening, averaging only 9.9 points per game, his lowest since his rookie season seven years ago.

Kevin Huerter Uncertain for Thursday

Sacramento Kings guard Kevin Huerter (shoulder) is uncertain for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to a shoulder sprain. It's unclear how he will be labeled on the injury report, so fantasy managers should check for an update on Thursday. Huerter has been struggling with his shooting this season, posting a career-low 31.1% from beyond the arc and averaging only 9.9 points per game, his lowest since his rookie season. Hopefully, he can round back into form and stay healthy moving forward. If he is sidelined, Keon Ellis would likely see increased playing time.

Josh Giddey Exits Early With Ankle Injury, Won't Return On Monday

Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey (ankle) exited Monday night's game against the Toronto Raptors early and won't return after injuring his ankle. Giddey went to contest a Gradey Dick three-point attempt and immediately grabbed at his right ankle before going to the floor and was writhing in pain. The 22-year-old was shown being helped to the locker room, pointing towards this injury being potentially serious. If Giddey is forced to miss an extended period of time, it's unclear who would take over in the starting lineup for Giddey as Patrick Williams, Lonzo Ball and Matas Buzelis all could fit the bill. One starter who could pick up additional assists is Ayo Dosunmu, who's shown an ability to facilitate Chicago's offense in past seasons.

Nikola Vucevic Will Play On Monday

Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (illness) is available to play ahead of Monday's game against the Toronto Raptors. The big man is back in the mix following a one-game absence on Friday due to an illness. He appears to be feeling better now and figures to play his regular role in the rotation on Monday. Jalen Smith will head back to the bench after a spot-start on Friday. He'll lose most of his streaming appeal with Vucevic back in the starting five. Fantasy managers can go ahead and get Vucevic back in their lineups for Monday's game.
