Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey (ankle) will play versus the Hornets. The 22-year-old recently missed four games. However, he returned for Saturday's contest against the Bucks, finishing with 23 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, and one block. With Zach LaVine (toe) and Ayo Dosunmu (calf) both sidelined on Monday night, Giddey could be in line for another productive fantasy showing, although he could have a tough time matching his stats from Saturday night.

Chicago Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu (calf) won't play on Monday against Charlotte. He is expected to be re-evaluated in 10 days after recently suffering a right Soleus strain. However, fantasy managers had some hope he would play after he was listed as doubtful on the league's official injury report. But as expected, Dosunmu won't suit up, joining Zach LaVine (toe) on the shelf. With those two ruled out, Nikola Vucevic, Josh Giddey, and Coby White should see a surge in production. Lonzo Ball, Talen Horton-Tucker, Dalen Terry, Patrick Williams, and Jalen Smith could also benefit from LaVine and Dosunmu's absences.

Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey (ankle) returned from a four-game absence to play in the team's last game on Saturday. He's still on the injury report with the ankle sprain, but he's considered probable to play again on Monday against the Charlotte Hornets. On Saturday, he posted 23 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, one block, and two turnovers in just 29 minutes. He has a shot to put up another big game against a 7-24 Hornets team dealing with injuries.

Chicago Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu (calf) is listed as doubtful for Monday's matchup with the Hornets. It was recently reported the 24-year-old would miss at least 10 days. However, the doubtful designation indicates he has a chance of suiting up on Monday evening. But fantasy managers shouldn't expect to Dosunmu on the floor after he injured his calf during a meeting with the Bucks on December 23. Without him, Lonzo Ball could receive more work, at least when he's available. There is also room for Dalen Terry to get more involved, although he's not a reliable fantasy option.

Chicago Bulls center Jalen Smith (ankle) will not play in Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a sore left ankle. Smith, who typically logs around 15 minutes per game, plays a key role in providing rebounding and defense off the bench. His next chance to return will be on Monday against the Hornets. With Smith sidelined, Torrey Craig is expected to step up and take on additional minutes backing up Nikola Vucevic at center.
