Lonzo Ball and Talen Horton-Tucker are the main candidates to step up from the bench, with Zach LaVine and Josh Giddey getting a usage boost among the starters.

He injured his right ankle against Portland on Friday and was previously already considered doubtful for the game. Huerter's absence should guarantee extra work for Keon Ellis and Malik Monk. The latter has far more fantasy appeal, especially as Monk is set to make his first start of the campaign. He will be looking to post a third consecutive 20-point game on Sunday.

Chicago Bulls forward/center Jalen Smith (ankle) will return from a one-game absence on Friday against Boston. The 24-year-old missed Wednesday's clash against Orlando with an ankle injury and was initially regarded as questionable for Friday's NBA Cup action. Smith operates as Nikola Vucevic's backup, which limits his fantasy value. He has averaged 8.0 points and 5.1 rebounds in 14.5 minutes this season. Friday's matchup is a tough one for Chicago's big men, as Boston allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing centers.

Chicago Bulls guard/forward Dalen Terry (ankle) will be in the lineup on Friday against Boston. The 22-year-old injured his right ankle on Wednesday versus Orlando, playing only two minutes, but he won't be forced to miss additional time. Terry has carved out a spot in the Bulls rotation but doesn't carry any fantasy value. He has averaged 4.4 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 13.3 minutes this campaign.
