NBA Prop Bet of the Day

Trae Young OVER 25.5 points vs. New York (-114, DraftKings

At this rate, I may need to somehow woo a multi-billion-dollar recent divorcee to replenish funds lost. Hey, Melinda Gates, hit me up on OKCupid. All logic suggests Young, who not only silenced a raucous Tracy Morgan-led Garden crowd with a game-winning floater, is an easily defensible over wager, but this -EV bettor’s curse is real. In two out of three games against New York this season, including his heart-stopping Game 1 performance, Young has cruised past the proposed total. However, the Knicks, largely stout defensively, ranked No. 3 in adjusted defensive efficiency during the regular season and No. 9 versus scorers over their last 15 games. Still, the volume — he jacked 23 shots in the series opener — should side with the former Boomer Sooner.
