The NBA playoffs continue Thursday with a pair of pivotal Game 2s. Both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks are looking to steal a road game from the overall top seeds in the playoffs. Once again, we’ll see if Jarrett Allen makes his return for Cleveland.

Let’s take a look at Thursday’s NBA DFS outlook.

1. Daniel Gafford saw 13 paint touches in Game 1

The Thunder are a good defensive team, but they do have a pretty glaring weakness. They are very susceptible to giving up paint points and are also struggling to rebound. During the regular season, the Thunder coughed up the second-most points per game off putbacks (7.7) to go along with the fifth-most rebounds per game to opposing centers. Gafford took advantage of that matchup in Game 1, scoring 16 points (his most of the playoffs), while adding 11 rebounds and five blocks. His 13 paint touches were his most in a game and would rank first throughout the playoffs. Gafford averaged 35 fantasy points per game in four regular season meetings with the Thunder and kept the good times rolling Tuesday. As long as he stays out of foul trouble, Gafford is an elite value play.
