When it comes to NBA DFS, we have tons of advanced stats, tools, and information to dive into. This article will present you with five actionable stats in order to help you with the night’s NBA slate of games.
Let’s get into some actionable stats for Thursday’s slate of games that will help you find top plays and/or games in order to build your best lineups.
1. 26th
The Pacers rank 26th in defense while also ranking third in pace, which should create an elite matchup for the Lakers.
2. 27
The difference in ranks of pace between the second-fastest Memphis Grizzlies and the Cleveland Cavaliers (who rank 29th) is 27. This creates a pace-up spot for the Cavaliers, making them an interesting target for me.
3. 26th
Let’s use the number 26 again, as the Hornets are tied for 26th in defense, and like the Pacers, they also play quickly, ranking fifth in pace. This sets up to be a great matchup for the Bulls.
4. 30th and 28th
The Pacers rank 30th against rim protectors and 28th against rebounders, which are two traits that Anthony Davis has, per our advanced DvP tool.
5. 35%
With Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry off the floor this season, Jordan Poole has a whopping 35% usage rate. Thompson has already been ruled out, and Curry is questionable, but if both of those guys are out, we should see a huge uptick in Poole opportunities.
