Ryan Walker Tosses Scoreless Ninth Inning

San Francisco Giants relief pitcher Ryan Walker was called upon to hold a one-run lead against the New York Yankees on Sunday. It wasn't easy as Walker threw 18 pitches to earn his fourth save of the season. He didn't allow any baserunners and stuck out one batter as well. It appears the Giants have a lockdown closer on their hands. When healthy, Walker is one of the best relief pitchers in all of baseball. The Giants have been playing winning baseball which has given Walker plenty of save chances. That being said, Walker needs to be rostered in basically all fantasy formats right now.

Jung Hoo Lee Homers Twice In Victory

San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee showed off his power ability during Sunday's game against the New York Yankees. He smacked a 406-foot homer off left-hander Carlos Rodon in the fourth inning. Lee wasn't done, though, as he crushed another home run off Rodon in the sixth inning. He finished his day 2-for-4 with two homers and four RBI in the win over the Yankees. Lee now has three homers, 11 RBI, and three steals through April. He figures to remain in the middle of the order all season long. Fantasy managers in need of some help should consider adding Lee to their roster.

Wilmer Flores Stays Hot On Saturday

San Francisco Giants first baseman Wilmer Flores has been crushing the ball all over the park to begin the season. He continued his power surge during Saturday's game against the New York Yankees. Flores tied the game with a two-run home run off right-hander Will Warren in the second inning. He would later add on two more runs with a single in the sixth. Flores finished his day 2-for-4 with RBI in what would end up being an 8-4 loss. The veteran slugger is now slashing .275/.302/.267 with six home runs and 19 RBI this season. Flores has five hits and seven RBI over his last three games, so he's really picking up steam right now.

Patrick Bailey Out Against Yankees

San Francisco Giants catcher Patrick Bailey is taking the day off on Saturday at Yankee Stadium against the New York Yankees. Sam Huff will make the start behind the dish to catch right-hander Jordan Hicks and will hit eighth in the batting order versus Yankees right-hander Will Warren. Bailey went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Friday's series opener in the Bronx, but he's hitting just .206 (7-for-34) early in the season with no home runs, four doubles, a triple, four RBI, five runs scored, three walks and 10 strikeouts in 37 trips to the plate over his 13 games played. Bailey should be back in action for the series finale on Sunday at Yankee Stadium. Huff should be considered a long shot to return any DFS value for Saturday's slate. The 27-year-old catcher has gotten off to a 2-for-13 start at the plate for the Giants with no home runs and five strikeouts.

Jung Hoo Lee Smashes Huge Homer For The Giants

San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee hit his first home run of the season in Friday's rain-shortened win over the Yankees. His three-run homer fueled the Giants' five-run first inning against Marcus Stromen and jump-started their offense in the 9-1 road win. Lee went 2-for-2 with that home run, two walks, two runs scored, and three RBI. He raised his batting average to .340 in his 12 games this season with a .432 wOBA. He has three stolen bases and 13 runs scored with nine extra-base hits compared to seven singles. He had a 41% hard-hit rate last year in his first season with the Giants and has increased that to a 47.5% hard-hit rate so far this season. He's off to a great start to the season as a key contributor to the Giants' 10-3 start to the season.
