With declining velocity, his strikeout rate slipped to a career-worst 16.7%. Stroman's 4.87 xERA shows he was fortunate to be as good as he was. If he cannot induce more ground balls, the veteran hurler could struggle even more in 2024, in the Bronx or elsewhere.
