Cleveland Guardians first baseman Kyle Manzardo homered again on Monday, continuing his hot stretch in a 6-4 win over the New York Yankees. Manzardo finished the day 1-for-3 with a walk, a run, and an RBI. After a strong start to the season, the 24-year-old had been slumping hard heading into this past weekend. Things have turned around, though, as he now has three homers and five RBI in his past three games. He's up to seven homers and 17 RBI on the season to go along with a solid .909 OPS. Manzardo has been dropped in many leagues and could be worth a pickup if power is a need.

Cleveland Guardians first baseman Kyle Manzardo went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and three RBI in Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning win against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 24-year-old started at first base for the fourth time this season, hit his sixth long ball, and drove in his 16th run. On the season, he is now slashing .212/.321/.545. The power and slugging numbers are certainly there for Manzardo, but the average is falling close to the Mendoza Line, so fantasy managers hope to see more consistency from him down the stretch. The four starts at first base will undoubtedly help his eligibility in fantasy baseball and provide managers who roster him more flexibility with their lineup once he reaches the threshold of 10 starts at first base. Next for the Guardians is a three-game series against the New York Yankees.

Cleveland Guardians first baseman/designated hitter Kyle Manzardo will take a seat for Sunday's series finale against the division-rival Kansas City Royals at Progressive Field with a left-hander on the mound. Jose Ramirez will serve as the DH on Sunday and will hit second, while Daniel Schneemann gets the start at third base and hits seventh against Royals southpaw Cole Ragans. It's a good day to give Manzardo a break after his cold start to the season. The 24-year-old has gone 9-for-45 (.200) with four home runs, a double, triple, 11 RBI, 10 walks and 14 strikeouts in his first 14 games played. The power has been nice, but Manzardo has struck out at a 28.6% clip in the early going. J-Ram is always a must-start in fantasy when he's in the lineup, but Schneemann will be a low-upside DFS option on Sunday. He has never faced Ragans in his career.

Cleveland Guardians first baseman Kyle Manzardo went 1-for-4 in Thursday's victory over the White Sox, and his one hit was a two-run blast to right field in the first inning. The home run turned an early 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead for Cleveland, who cruised to a 6-1 victory over Chicago, who has lost eight straight. Manzardo's home run gave him a total of 11 RBI in his first 12 games this season, and the 24-year-old lefty is hitting .225 (9-for-40) with six extra-base hits, a .375 ISO, and a .385 wOBA. The Guardians got back to .500 with the win, as they welcome in the Royals on Friday night to continue their current homestand.

Cleveland Guardians designated hitter Kyle Manzardo ripped a two-run blast off of Sam Long in the fifth inning, which proved to be the game-winning hit for the Guardians on Sunday. Manzardo enjoyed an impressive series against the Kansas City Rotays, going 5-for-11 with a pair of long balls, three walks, four extra base hits, three runs scored, and six RBI. With Jose Ramirez (wrist) sitting out on Sunday, Manzardo occupied the three-spot in the lineup, batting behind Steven Kwan and Lane Thomas, who each got on base five times in the contest. Manzardo is making a case to stick around at the top of the order and has become one of the hottest waiver-wire pickups after Opening Weekend. Fantasy managers looking for production at their utility spot or some power in their lineup will want to pick him up before someone else does.
