Welcome to PrizePicks, PGA Tour edition. This week, we’ll be taking a look at the Wells Fargo Championship.
How to play PrizePicks golf
If you’re new to PrizePicks in general, checkout the PrizePicks App Review by FTN’s Tyler Loechner. In terms of how it works for PGA, each golfer is given a projected score for each round of the tournament. Projections will vary based off what par is at each given course. You have to parlay at least two picks with at least one over, and one under in order to submit. The payouts are as follows:
- Two-pick Power Play pays 3x (max entry: $400)
- Three-pick Power Play pays 5x (max entry: $200)
- Four-pick Power Play pays 10x (max entry: $100)
There is also a “Flex Play” option, in which you don’t have to get every pick correct, but the payout is slightly less.

PrizePicks PGA Picks Round 1 at the Wells Fargo Championship:
Quail Hollow is the host of the Wells Fargo Championship. The course is a par 71 that plays over 7,400 yards. While Quail Hollow used to be a par 72, it went through some changes in 2017. This was another event that was canceled entirely during the 2020 season. Max Homa gained his first career victory here in 2019, and Jason Day won the year before that. In 2019, there were a total of 46 golfers who shot under-par in the first round.
