Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen is absent from the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. This appears to be a routine rest day for the 37-year-old veteran slugger. McCutchen is 3-for-8 with four RBI since returning from the injured list a few days ago. It appears some time off might've helped McCutchen get back on track with his bat. On Sunday, Oneil Cruz will serve as the designated hitter while Bryan De La Cruz plays right field versus right-hander Alex Cobb. Fantasy managers who have McCutchen rostered should adjust their lineups.

Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Zach Eflin (shoulder) has been activated from the 15-day injured list ahead of Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies. The good news is that Eflin was only forced to miss the minimum amount of time due to shoulder inflammation. Eflin was average during his 19 starts with the Tampa Bay Rays this season, but he has turned it on since being traded to the O's. He has a 2.13 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 25/2 K/BB ratio across four starts with his new team. Despite pitching in Colorado, Eflin should be a solid streaming option for Sunday's slate.

Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is out of the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. The team decided to give Guerrero a rest day here after he had started in the last eight games. During the span, Guerrero collected 14 hits with a batting average over .450, so fantasy managers that held onto him are getting rewarded in the second half of the season. Spencer Horwitz will cover first base and bat third versus right-hander Bailey Ober. The 26-year-old has racked up five hits in his last two games and has a favorable matchup on Sunday. Fantasy managers that are looking for help should consider Horwitz as a possible option.

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho (shoulder) is out of the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. The lefty slugger will miss his second game in a row while he continues to nurse a shoulder injury. The Jays have a scheduled off day on Monday, so hopefully Varsho can return on Tuesday. In the meantime, Joey Loperfido will cover to center field and bat sixth while Nathan Lukes plays left field versus right-hander Bailey Ober. Neither player offers much upside with the bat right now, but Loperfido is the better option between the two. However, the 25-year-old rookie only has one hit in his last five games. That being said, fantasy managers should probably look elsewhere for help on Sunday.
