New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge continued his hot month of May on Thursday versus the Los Angeles Angels. The slugger went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in the team's victory and has now hit 12 homers in May. Judge got off to a sluggish start in April, but May has been a complete 180 for the former MVP. Judge is now hitting .273 with 18 homers, 41 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. His month of May will be hard to replicate, but Judge remains one of the best power hitters in the game and being part of a potent offense like the Yankees will continue to help him score and drive in many more runs as the season continues. Judge will look to keep it going as his month wraps up with a matchup versus fireballer Jordan Hicks on the road in San Francisco.

Kansas City Royals catcher/outfielder MJ Melendez went 1-for-3 with a walk and solo home run in Thursday's loss against the division rival Minnesota Twins. Melendez crushed a first-pitch fastball 416 feet off Caleb Thielber in the top of the fourth inning to extend the Royals lead to 4-0 at the time, but it would not be enough. With his homer, Melendez picked up his first RBI on the road in 2024. The 25-year-old entered the season with high hopes, but has struggling through the first third of the season with a .176 batting average to go along with five home runs, 13 RBI and two stolen bases. Having catcher eligibility on most platforms helps Melendez, but his overall struggles make him replaceable for a hot bat on the waiver wire this far into the season.

Washington Nationals starting pitcher Josiah Gray (elbow/forearm) threw a live bullpen session on Thursday. The 2023 All-Star threw 76 pitches in his session and is another step closer to returning to the big-league club. Gray got lit up in his first two starts of the season before being placed on the 15-day injured list with a right elbow/forearm flexor strain. Manager Dave Martinez spoke on Wednesday and would like to see Gray have one more bullpen session in the next five days before the club determines the next move. Gray still has some work to be done, but could be a valuable end of the rotation arm in deeper leagues when healthy.

Seattle Mariners third base/shortstop prospect Tai Peete tallied two hits with three stolen bases on Thursday to extend his hitting streak to three games. Peete has also now swiped at least one bag in each of his past three games. Since the start of this incredible run, the 18-year-old has posted a .382 AVG with 13 total hits and seven total bases in just nine games. Peete got a small taste of Single-A ball last summer and has remained their through the early part of this season and holds a cumulative .270/.359/.387 line and 16 total stolen bases. MLB Pipeline projects the former 2023 draft pick to reach the majors in 2023, but is worth following in dynasty leagues due to his elite raw speed.

Detroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Thursday's victory versus the Boston Red Sox. The homer gives Greene 10 on the season to accompany 22 RBI and a .234 batting average. The talented outfielder was a popular name amongst the fantasy community entering the season, but has been more inconsistent than managers would prefer. The power is nice, but after hitting .280 with six homers and 14 RBI in April, Greene has hit a weak .208 with three homers and seven RBI in May. Overall, Greene should continue to provide power numbers and his month of April is more accurate of what his numbers should be moving forward.
