2024 Team Stats

Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Rhys Hoskins and outfielder Sal Frelick are not in Thursday's lineup when they conclude a series against the Colorado Rockies. Fantasy managers should expect both Hoskins and Frelick to return to the lineup against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday evening. Hoskins has tallied just two hits over his previous four games and will cede first base duties to Jake Bauers, who will bat sixth. Frelick is riding a six-game hitting streak and has enjoyed a very productive start to the campaign. With Frelick sitting out, Jackson Chourio will shift to right field, opening up left field for Christian Yelich. The Brewers are a great lineup to target in DFS competitions this afternoon as they will face Colorado right-handed pitcher Ryan Feltner.

Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Logan Henderson enjoyed another impressive outing on Wednesday evening. In this start, Henderson tossed five shutout innings and allowed just two walks with no hits. He struck out eight batters. This was his second-straight contest tossing five shutout frames and tallying eight punchouts. Henderson has begun to turn the corner following a rough season debut in which he allowed six hits and five earned runs across four innings of work. The 23-year-old is a name to monitor, given Milwaukee's numerous injuries to their starting rotation. If Henderson continues to perform well with Triple-A, he could get the call to the major leagues. The right-hander held a modest 4.56 ERA with Triple-A last season and appears to be taking a significant step forward in his development.

Milwaukee Brewers catcher William Contreras continued his recent strong hitting in a 17-2 win over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday. Contreras went 1-for-4 with a homer, a walk, two runs, and two RBI in the high-scoring win over the Rockies. The veteran catcher has tormented Colorado over the past two games, hitting two homers and driving in four runs. Overall, Contreras is hitting just .154 with two homers, eight runs, and four RBI across 39 at-bats. After a slow start at the plate to begin the year, it appears that Contreras is starting to heat up. He should be in starting lineups in fantasy moving forward.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich turned in a big game in a 17-2 blowout win over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday. Yelich went 2-for-5 with a homer, two runs, two RBI, and a steal to help lead his team to the win. The veteran outfielder ripped a solo homer to center field as part of a seven-run ninth inning. Yelich is off to a quiet start in 2025, hitting just .171 with three homers, six runs, eight RBI, and three steals across 41 at-bats. Patience is key here as Yelich has a long track record of being a starting-caliber fantasy outfielder.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, three runs, and five RBI on Wednesday in a 17-2 win over the Rockies. This was his third straight multi-hit game and the second time he's collected five RBI in a game in that span. The youngster is now batting .315 with four home runs, 16 RBI, 10 runs, and one stolen base on the season. He looks to be building off of his strong second half in 2024 and is taking the step forward that many hoped for when devoting a second-round pick on fantasy in him.
