With the NCAA college basketball in full swing, we get full slate of games to analyze Saturday. If you’re interested in getting into some fantasy action, PrizePicks is a get way to some exposure.

The format is simple. PrizePicks will set fantasy point lines for select players and then you choose between two and five players to go over or under their given projection. Naturally, the more players you put into your parlay, the larger the payout. You can enter a “Power Play,” where you must get every pick in your parlay correct to get paid out. Another option is a “Flex Play,” where your payout changes depending on the number of picks you got correct.

  • Two player “Power Play” entry pays 3x and “Flex Play” pays 2x for both correct and 0.5x for one correct
  • Three player “Power Play” entry pays 5x and “Flex Play” pays 2.25x for three correct and 1.25x for two correct
  • Four player “Power Play” entry pays 10x and “Flex Pay” pays 5x for four correct and 1.5x for three correct
  • Five player entries are only eligible for “Flex Plays” and pay out 10x for five correct, 2x for four correct and 0.4x for three correct Below, I’m looking at my DFS angles for the Friday slate up and down the price pool.

Below are my favorite PrizePicks plays for the Saturday college basketball slate.

Scoring breakdown for PrizePicks contests can be found here.

Dec. 19 PrizePicks

College basketball

  • BJ Boston, Kentucky — Over 26.4 Points
  • Nate Reuvers, Wisconsin — Over 23.6 Points
  • Keith Williams, Georgia — Over 26.9 Points
  • Drew Timme, Gonzaga — Over 32.6 Points
  • John Petty, Alabama — Over 25.9 Points

We get Boston, Reuvers and Petty discounted here due to inconsistent play and foul trouble problems to start the year. All three of these guys should average a little above 30 fantasy points once the season is said and done. I smell value at these numbers. Both Williams and Timme get massive tempo boosts in their matchups. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to predict that more possessions lead to more fantasy points. Iowa is terrible on the defensive glass, which is where Timme should eat all day and Georgia’s defense has always been swiss cheese under Tom Crean giving up easy buckets just so they can quickly get the ball back and try to score in 10 seconds. Williams’ 32% usage rate sets him up for a smash spot here.
