Ohtani enters this game leading the majors in home runs (35) and sports a.305 at the plate with a 3.71 ERA on the mound.
Shohei will see RHP Ryan Borucki of the Pirates. In a small sample size of four at-bats, Ohtani has been held hitless against Borucki. That’s no concern since “Shotime” has crushed RHP this season with a .318 average and 26 of his home runs. The Pirates also enter with the ninth-worst bullpen ERA.
