College Football Betting – Week 6 Parlay Picks

At the beginning of each week we highlight our favorite CFB bets so that you can get in early and lock in the best possible odds. This companion piece will drop each Friday, where I will talk about some advantageous parlays you can consider and the reasons why I favor them so much. These could be as simple as picking a side and the total of a single game or stringing together a couple of games into the same parlay.

I’ve dug in and identified two parlays that I think are worth jumping on this week. Week 6 offers some really intriguing matchups and I’m excited to share with you guys my favorite parlays

Ja’Tavion Sanders Receiving Yardage Prop
Keon Coleman Receiving Yardage Prop

(Ja’Tavion Sanders 39.5 Receiving Yards; Keon Coleman 56.5 Receiving Yards; DraftKings Sportsbook)

The Red River Showdown is always an intense battle between these bitter rivals, and with both defenses being fairly lackluster we should be able to take advantage not only in DFS but also in the betting market. Tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders has at least 40 receiving yards in back-to-back games and three of five overall. The Oklahoma Sooners defense has been torched in back-to-back games, and the wheels really fell off last week when TCU generated almost 700 yards of total offense. I’m also pretty high on WR1 Xavier Worthy this week and his 69.5 receiving yardage prop, but I’ll feature the lower number of the two with Sanders.

Jayden Reed is back from injury for the Spartans, but his presence will help Keon Coleman more than it will hurt. Coleman leads the Spartans in targets with 43 and has produced a stat line of 25-308-3. The Spartans are 27-point dogs, so they’ll have to throw the ball all game long to try and keep up which means plenty of targets coming Colemans way. He has two games over 60 yards this season and by the end of Saturday he will make it three.

Best Bet

Ja’Tavion Sanders OVER 39.5 Receiving Yards (-115) and Keon Coleman OVER 56.5 Receiving Yards (-115) — Combined +249

North Carolina Tar Heels vs, Miami (FL) Hurricanes

(Miami -3.5, O/U 66, DraftKings Sportsbook)

I love attacking this game with a single-game parlay as I’ve begun to trust the Tar Heels offense enough to wager on them and all of their games have turned into shootouts so the over is very much in play here. The Tar Heels have had games finish with 80, 124, 63, 77 and 51. That’s a ton of juicy offense and not a lot of defense, which is fantastic for our chances of walking this bet to the window. The Heels offense has racked up over 2,500 yards this season and quarterback Drake Maye has been an unstoppable force throwing for almost 1,600 yards/19 TDs while also rushing for 255 yards/3 TDs.

The Hurricanes have been banged up but are expected to get key players back such as Henry Parrish and Jaylan Knighton which should enhance their offense enough to help push this total toward 70 points or more. Tyler Van Dyke has had his struggles this season but is in a prime bounceback spot against this matador-esque Tar Heels defense. In the end, it’ll be Drake Mayes heroics that lead the Heels to a cover and the combined efforts of both teams to make this one look like a Madden game stuck on easy.
