This women’s college basketball season sure flew by. We have reached March Madness, and the women’s tournament is looking to be one of its most open events in recent memory.
No team has separated itself from the rest of the pack, and parity is at an all-time high. Can Paige Bueckers lead UConn to its first National Championship since 2016? Will Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks repeat? Will one of the Los Angeles schools come out on top? Or will someone else cut the nets down?

Spokane 1 Region
Host Seeds: UCLA, NC State, LSU, Baylor
First-Round Potential Upset: Ball State (+12.5/+570, FanDuel)
If UCLA goes on to win this tournament, they will look back on the Big 10 championship game as the catalyst to it all. If they had lost again to USC, they’d be on the 2 line for seeding. Instead, they ended up with the No. 1 overall seed, and by the looks of this region, got themselves the easiest draw. Their biggest threat will be LSU, but injuries to Flau’Jae Johnson and Aneesah Morrow leave major questions heading into the tournament.
