The English Premier League (EPL) is back in action and FTN has you covered! For this two-match slate, which includes Sheffield United-Everton and Brighton-Newcastle, I’ll be offering a DFS catered approach to help pack your bankroll with profit.

The two-game slate is a little different than the more common showdown matchups that have occurred lately. In showdown, you need to play a lineup purely based on game script. If you have a lineup built off the correct game script, you have a good shot at success. With these slates, it is going to be a bit more strategy dependent centered around statistical analysis as well as understanding teams' performance, strategy and how to build a lineup accordingly.

The two games this week consist of all teams that do not have much to play for at this point. There could be a lot of rotation in the mix for lineups but as of now, I am going off of predicted lineups that are currently out there via research. Be sure that when lineups are announced, you check back here for any changes that may have been made.

Newcastle United (+320) @ Brighton & Hove Albion (-112)

I don’t think this game is as far off as people think it may be. Brighton looks to have really found their stride even though, at this point, they have nothing to play for, as they have already found safety and really cannot advance much more in the table. However, their attacking prowess has looked a bit dire, as they are only expected 0.8 xG per game per 90 minutes in the last five matches. Newcastle, on the other hand, has found a bit of a stride lately, averaging over 1.0 xG per game. Their defense, on the other hand, is the Swiss cheese of the premier league and are giving up over 3.0 xG per game in their last three matchups.

Betting Pick: Both Teams to Score: Yes (Draftkings Sportsbook -117)

Everton (+285) @ Sheffield United (+106)

1:00 p.m. ET Monday, July 20

Everton is such an odd team. They are so talented but it looked like they have totally checked out to finish the season. They, along with so many other teams, do not have much to play for at this point and you can tell in their performances that they are totally wiped and are looking ahead to next season. Players you’d expect to be playmakers have looked dire and it’s been absolutely tough to watch. For Sheffield United, although they looked a bit rough against Leicester, they have been such a tactically sound team that continues to exceed all expectations. For these reasons, I believe you will really see Sheffield United pull away from this one.

Betting Pick: Sheffield United ML (Draftkings Sportsbook +106)
