Still, if the Yankees are looking for some help in the starting rotation, they could look to give Winans a shot. The strikeout potential is intriguing for fantasy, however, managers in most leagues would likely want to have him prove it in the majors before deciding to roster him, if he were to be called up at some point.

He struck out 213 batters and served up 67 free passes. Fantasy managers should expect Winans to serve as a depth pitching option in the New York system during the 2025 season.
