Andre Pallante Continues To Pitch Well

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Andre Pallante was terrific on Sunday, tossing seven innings of one-run ball against the Cleveland Guardians en route to a 2-1 win. Pallante allowed just one hit and two walks while recording four punchouts. The 26-year-old has been a little inconsistent on a start-to-start basis, but his overall numbers are solid. He owns a 3.71 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with 90 strikeouts in 116 IP this year. Although he will likely run a high WHIP with his groundball profile, he could also manage to keep runs off the board if he can keep the walks down. He should have a shot at a rotation spot with St. Louis next year and could be a decent deep league option if he can nab it.

Andre Pallante Throws Seven-Inning Gem Monday

St. Louis Cardinals right-handed pitcher Andre Pallante turned in an excellent start in Monday's 4-0 win over the Pirates. Pallante pitched seven innings, allowing just four hits and a walk with nine strikeouts. The 25-year-old's strikeout total was the highest of all his outings this season. Pallante has done a solid job for the Cardinals pitching both in the rotation and out of the bullpen and is now 7-8 with a 3.87 ERA, a 1.35 WHIP, and a 7.08 K/9 rate in 27 games (18 starts). He will face a tough matchup against the Guardians in his next start. While he has been useful at times for fantasy managers this season, he should be avoided in his next game so late in the fantasy season.

Andre Pallante Tosses Seven Innings

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Andre Pallante had his longest outing of the season in Thursday's victory versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pallante tossed seven innings of one-run ball and allowed four hits, one walk and struck out five in the contest. Pallante has been pretty solid for the Cardinals and is 4-3 with a 4.00 ERA in 16 games (seven starts). The right-hander has never had overpowering stuff and that limits his strikeouts significantly and due to that, he is best used as a streamer at the moment. Next up for Pallante will be a matchup versus the Kansas City Royals.
