It seems as though there should be a good chance one NBA playoff series is over Wednesday night, as Boston hosts a Cleveland team that might be without Donovan Mitchell. On the West side of the bracket, the Thunder and the Mavericks are jockeying for the 3-2 lead after Dallas blew Game 4 late.
Let’s take a look at it from a DFS perspective.
1. Darius Garland and Caris LeVert are must-plays if Donovan Mitchell is out
The salaries aren’t high enough if Donovan Mitchell is out, since both Darius Garland and Caris LeVert logged over 38 minutes. Garland had a 32.8% usage rate while LeVert was at 23.3%, and the salaries didn’t move much. Yes, the blowout concern is going to be there but Boston’s record at home in the playoffs over the past two years is atrocious. Even if the score is a bit lopsided, this duo won’t play under 30 minutes, and I’ll take that since the ceiling is close to 40.
