The Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions pulled off their second trade of the offseason overnight, agreeing to send DL Michael Brockers from Los Angeles to Detroit, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Brockers will be an immediate upgrade for the Lions’ defensive line. Detroit can use the help after allowing the fifth-most rushing yards and most rushing touchdowns last season. However, there could be some tense moments in line for the kneecap buffet. Brockers stated earlier this offseason that Matthew Stafford was “a level up” over Jared Goff. At the very least training camp should be interesting.

Brockers has been with the Rams since he was their first-round pick (14th overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft. He’s played at least 13 games every year of his career, including all 16 games in six of the last eight years.
