With our FTN betting package, you’ll get picks from everyone at FTN, plus tools, projections and access to Discord, where I’ll discuss every slate.
Today’s Best NHL Bets
St. Louis Blues ML
(-114, FanDuel Sportsbook, 2.28 units to win 2 units)
St. Louis Blues -1.5
(+220, DraftKings Sportsbook)
We tried these two bets last Thursday and got extremely unlucky with the Penguins scoring five goals in a game where they generated just 1.1 expected goals. The Blues have been on a bit of a roll offensively and are gelling at the right time. They are in the middle of a four-way battle for the last Wild Card spot in the Western Conference and have a real shot at making the playoffs. More likely than not, the Blues will be facing Juuse Saros of the Predators, who has been struggling mightily. His -3.72 GSAA in the month of March is the eighth worst in the NHL. There’s so much value here on the Blues in this matchup against a team that has no possible shot at making the postseason. We’ll try another big moneyline bet to win 2 units and also take the Blues puck line for some big value at +220.
Jake Walman Over 2.5 Blocked Shots
(+110, Bet365)
It has been a long while since I included a prop bet in this space, but this one is too good to pass up. Walman has been a shot-blocking machine since he put on his Oilers uniform, and he happens to be tied with Jacob Trouba for the league lead in blocked shots in the month of March. He has been a man on a mission, and I can’t see it changing against Utah.
