The NCAA Tournament bracket is set, and now is the time to not do any work at your job and spend the next eight hours of every day this week stressing over who your 12 over 5 upset will be. Or, in my case, the next 16 hours each day.
There’s nothing like previewing March Madness. Anything can happen. You convince yourself of wild fantasies and suddenly become the biggest fans of a Peacock or some team called Oral Roberts. What a time to be alive.
Below, I will be breaking down the South Region. Auburn as the No. 1 overall seed sits at the top with Michigan State, Iowa State and Texas A&M the next three top respective seeds. The Big Ten tournament champion Michigan faces off against one of the most delightful mid-majors in UC San Diego, while Ole Miss awaits the winner of San Diego State-UNC. Here are my immediate reactions to the South Region.
