The PGA Tour heads to the Sin City for this week’s Shriners at TPC Summerlin. It’s a field of 132 golfers and the field strength is similar to what we’ve been seeing at recent fall events.
The host course has one of the easier scoring environments we see all season but that will be tested with a lot of wind in the forecast on Thursday afternoon and Friday. As of early afternoon on Wednesday, I would really want to focus on the Thursday morning starters, but I will wait for the forecast to unfold more this evening before I finalize those wave-stacking thoughts.

He flopped for us in his most recent start, but his irons remained steady. He’s now gained on approach in seven of his last eight starts. He’s top 10 in the field in go-low rate in the wind over the last two years, as his strong short game allows for him to scrap together a few extra strokes here and there. He’s very cheap at $7,300 but still projected under 10% rostership.
