We are so absolutely back. The long wait for CFB is over, and while we were rewarded with an appetizer of a slate in Week 0 that made brand favorite and flag plant RJ Maryland a household name, we have a full slate of chaos that you’ve already dug into plenty by the time you’re reading this. This article will be a regular feature and will cover the “Late” slate that begins at 7/7:30 p.m. ET, not to be confused with the night or “Rachel” slate that begins at 10/10:30.

We will of be in the Discord for all of it, and of course to watch our own Walt Waddell tilt his face off when some chalk RB from a G5 program opens the gate with two 10-plus-yard carries and in doing so, breaks the slate. Such is tradition in these parts. We’re an odd but fun bunch of CFB enthusiasts here.

As for this slate, it is blowout central, with only two games that should stay competitive throughout. One of those games is also the second lowest total on the slate and features two top tier defenses against questionable offenses (Notre Dame vs. Texas A&M) and the other is a game between teams that are more or less allergic to defense (Houston vs. UNLV) and is one we will feature prominently. I’m pumped.
