Charlotte Hornets forward Josh Green (illness) appeared on the injury report for Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers as probable while he deals with an illness. The 24-year-old missed the last game on Wednesday, so it seems he's getting to the other side of this sickness. Through 55 games (54 starts), he's averaging 7.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Even with the long list of injuries, Green hasn't been much of a fantasy-relevant player outside of extremely deep leagues.

He was a late addition to the injury report due to an illness, and the team has ruled him out for the game before tip-off. DaQuan Jeffries will start Wednesday's contest in Green's place. Before exiting the lineup, Green was having his best spell of the season. He has scored 10-plus points in five of his past seven appearances. Green averages 7.5 points for the year, so he has had a significant bump in production. However, in this season's first matchup against the Nets, he was limited to just three points in 25 minutes, and Green certainly isn't a player fantasy managers can depend on to get the job done each night.
