We have 10 games on the NHL slate for Thursday, so there’s plenty of action to be had on the ice. Below you’ll see a list of three of my favorite NHL props, with a couple of bonus NHL prop bets as well.

The odds change pretty quickly in the NHL, so take advantage of our Prop Shop for the best possible odds and check out our Pick Tracker for all of my picks.

With our FTN Bets package, you’ll get picks from everyone at FTN, plus tools, projections and access to Discord, where I’ll discuss every slate.

This is a great night for SGP Point Parlays, so be sure to check out our FTN Bets Tracker for more! With our betting package you get all of our picks across all sports, plus access to our Discord channel and to our projections.

Be sure to check out Mean Streets for daily picks and Dangle Bet Celly for full NHL breakdowns each Tuesday and Thursday.

The Best NHL Props Bets

Nikita Kucherov Over 1.5 Points

(-105, BetMGM)

The Tampa Bay Lightning will most likely start to rest some players as they’re locked into the first wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. However, Nikita Kucherov should play out the season as he chases down the Art Ross Trophy and potentially the Hart Trophy as the league’s MVP. Kucherov has back-to-back games with three assists, and he’s picked up at least two points in five straight games and six of his last seven. Kucherov currently has a two-point lead on Nathan MacKinnon for the most points in the NHL. He has 139 on the season and an impressive 64 in 37 games at home.

Bonus

Artemi Panarin Over 1.5 Points

(+125, DraftKings Sportsbook)

The Philadelphia Flyers are at rock bottom at the moment, so let’s continue to pick on them. The Flyers lost their eighth straight game Tuesday, 9-3 in Montreal. They’ve coughed up at least four goals in each of their nine losses. Overall, this team has lost 11 of their last 13 games. Meanwhile, Artemi Panarin and the New York Rangers have won 13 of their last 17 games. It should be all business for the Rangers at home as they remain three points up on the Carolina Hurricanes for the Metropolitan Division. With Carolina idle, New York can all but clinch the division with a win. Panarin checks in riding a 10-game point streak in which he has 22 points over that span. He has six multipoint games over that span.

Bonus

Juraj Slafkovsky Over 2.5 SOG

(+134, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Slafkovsky is fresh off his first hat trick in the NHL and is one goal away from 20 goals on the season. The sophomore forward has been fantastic in the second half after a slow start to the season. The winger has 12 goals and 28 points in his last 29 games. He’s been one of our favorite bets when it comes to his point prop, but there’s value in his shot prop as well. Slafkovsky has at least four shots on goal in five of his past six games and he has 28 shots on goal over that span. He only averaged 14 minutes per game in the first two months of the season, but he’s averaging just over 19 in his last five months.

Bonus

  • Juraj Slafkovsky Point (-120, BetMGM)
  • Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield Points SGP (+125, Bet365)
  • Mathews Barzal, Bo Horvat Points (+105, Bet365)

Andrei Kuzmenko Point

(-110, DraftKings Sportsbook)

It’s heat check time for Kuzmenko, who checked in here Tuesday. This is what I wrote:

“Kuzmenko had a strong start to his career with the Calgary Flames, but then he slowed down. He’s back on a high thanks to a promotion to the top line. His usage rates are up (17+ minutes in five straight games) and it’s resulted in production. The former Canuck has points in five straight games (two goals and nine points, including four on the power play), and he’s picked up at least two points in four of those five games. The Flames are not a great hockey team, but you don’t need me to tell you the Sharks are worse, but I will anyway. Fabian Zetterlund deserves some love though as he has points in four of his last five games and eight over his last eight games. Only the Philadelphia Flyers have a higher GA/60 at 5v5 over the last month than San Jose.

Kuzmenko picked up another two-point game to extend his point streak to six games. He has five goals and five multipoint games over that span. The matchup is tougher, but he’s getting a chance to play on the top line and first power play.
