The Best NHL Props Bets

Wyatt Johnston O 2.5 SOG

(-125, BetRivers)

I wish Pete DeBoer would keep Johnston on the top line with Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson. He put those three together in the third period of the Stars’ last game in hopes of completing a comeback. Johnston is slated to skate on the top line tonight and remains on the first power play. Regardless, I like this shot prop, and I think he’ll find the score sheet. Johnston has cleared 2.5 shots on goal in all three road games he’s played this season. The Bruins return home after a three-game road trip, and they lost their last two games 4-0 and 2-1. I do not like their lineup one bit, especially their bottom six, as they’ve decided to load up the top line with David Pastrnak, Elias Lindholm and Brad Marchand.

Bonus

Wyatt Johnston Point (-140, DraftKings)
Roope Hintz Point (-130, DraftKings)
Elias Lindholm Point (+100, BetMGM)

Timo Meier Point

(-145, DraftKings)

Meier enters tonight’s game on a three-game point streak. He has two goals and six points over that span, including two on the power play. He’s racked up nine points in nine games this season. We’ve seen 24 goals in New Jersey’s last two games, and the Red Wings have played to the over in two of their last three games. I have questions about both teams’ goalies, so I have a lean to the over 6.5 goals scored.

Bonus

Alex DeBrincat Point (-140, DraftKings)
Alex DeBrincat O 2.5 SOG (-135, DraftKings)
Dawson Mercer Point (+135, DraftKings)
NJ @ DET O 6.5 (-109, BetRivers)

Ross Colton O 2.5 SOG

(-136, BetRivers)

Colton continues to play on the top line and first power play, so let’s ride this out until the Avalanche get some healthy bodies back in their lineup. Colton has seven points in seven games, and he’s cleared 2.5 shots on goal in six straight games. He’s had at least four shots in four of those games. Nathan MacKinnon’s shot attempts are there, but he’s not hitting the net, so consider the two-point prop. He has 12 points in seven games, at least one in each game, and five multi-point games. I have Cale Makar listed as a long shot since he already has 14 points this season. He has five multi-point games in his seven matchups.

Bonus

Ross Colton Point (-140, DraftKings)
Dylan Guenther O 2.5 SOG (-130, BetRivers)
Dylan Guenther Point (-105, BetMGM)
Nathan MacKinnon O 1.5 Points (-154, DraftKings)
Cale Makar O 1.5 Points (+130, DraftKings)

Goalscorers: Auston Matthews, Timo Meier, Adrian Kempe, Jake Guentzel, Sebastian Aho, Kyle Connor, Nathan MacKinnon, Alex DeBrincat, Wyatt Johnston, Alex Lafreniere, Dylan Guenther
