After trying to replace the plethora of fantasy football players on bye last week, we have a full slate of games during Thanksgiving week, which is a sight for sore eyes. But this could be a make-or-break week for many fantasy teams, as playoffs are just around the corner.

At FTN Fantasy, we have a Waiver Wire Tool that ranks the top waiver adds of the week, while also recommending the amount of FAAB you should use on each player. And every Tuesday, I’ll break down the top five players listed in the tool, giving you the best case for each highly ranked player. With all of the key injuries impacting fantasy rosters, being able to add key players off waivers is as crucial as ever.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 12

1. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Cleveland Browns

Yahoo! 45%, ESPN 64%

Jeudy continues to post consistent numbers since Jameis Winston has taken over at quarterback, and that continued in Week 12 when he hauled in all six of his targets for 85 yards. Since Winston drew his first start back in Week 8, Jeudy is averaging 6.0 targets, 9.0 receptions, 94.8 receiving yards and 17 PPR points per game. Cleveland also ranks fourth in the NFL in neutral script pass rate since Winston has been under center (61.8%) and with Cedric Tillman now dealing with a concussion, Jeudy could see even more targets for the time being. He’s a must-add wide receiver who can immediately be inserted into your starting lineup.

2. Taysom Hill, TE, New Orleans Saints

Yahoo! 53%, ESPN 53%

Because the Saints had a bye in Week 12, Hill still wasn’t added in as many leagues as he should have been. Before the bye, he went off for 138 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries, as the do-it-all player has operated as the Saints’ tight end, backup running back and occasional quarterback as of late. Since returning from injury in Week 8, Hill is averaging nearly 10 opportunities (carries + targets) per game, while also attempting a few passes, too.

3. Keenan Allen, WR, Chicago Bears

Yahoo! 70%, ESPN 69%

It feels weird to be talking about Allen as a waiver wire add, but the veteran wideout is still out there in around 30% of leagues. Chicago’s passing attack has looked a lot better with Thomas Brown as the offensive coordinator, as Caleb Williams is getting the ball out of his hands faster and taking fewer shots down the field. That benefits Allen, who caught nine of a team-high 15 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown on Sunday.

4. Jaylen Warren, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Yahoo! 51%, ESPN 68%

Warren has been featured in this article multiple times this season, but he still isn’t rostered in enough leagues. He carried the ball 11 times for 45 yards and a touchdown last Thursday, adding three catches for 19 yards. Warren is now averaging a solid 13.6 touches per game since Week 7, logging 45% of the snaps, 74.4% of the third downs and nearly 60% of the snaps in the two-minute drill during that span. Najee Harris is almost always going to get the first crack at goal line usage, though we did see Warren score from in close last week. He’s a really solid flex play each week.

5. Jeremy McNichols, RB, Washington Commanders

Yahoo! 1%, ESPN 1%

This could end up being all for nothing, but there is a chance Washington is without both Brian Robinson Jr. (ankle) and Austin Ekeler (concussion) Sunday. Robinson hurt the ankle last week, and although he did return to the game, he was forced to leave again shortly after. Ekeler, meanwhile, suffered his concussion late in the game on a kickoff return. If both are out this weekend, Washington will have to turn to McNichols against the Titans.
