Jeremy McNichols Operates As No. 3 Option In Week 13

Washington Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols took the backseat during their demanding victory over the Tennessee Titans. Entering this game with Austin Ekeler (concussion) on the IR, many suspected Jeremy McNichols to see an uptick in work and operate as the No.2 option behind Brian Robinson Jr. However, Chris Rodriguez Jr. logged double-digit attempts, while McNichols saw just six carries. While he was effective in his limited role (5.2 yards per carry), operating as the No.3 running back is not positive for his fantasy outlook. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status throughout their Week 14 bye week but should expect Rodriguez to be the new No.2 option in Week 15.

Jeremy McNichols Should See More Snaps On Sunday

Washington Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols should be in store for an increased role against the Tennessee Titans with No. 2 running back Austin Ekeler (concussion) ruled out. While both starting running backs Brian Robinson Jr. and Ekeler have been active, McNichols has only seen limited opportunities. McNichols has only logged seven or more carries in four games this season. However, he has flashed some upside in his limited work, averaging 4.9 yards per carry this season. While fantasy managers should expect Robinson to see the vast majority of attempts against the Titans, McNichols could be worth a look as a desperation flex option in 14-plus team formats given his solid rushing efficiency this season.

Jeremy McNichols Makes Most Of Limited Workload

Washington Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols made the most of his limited workload on Sunday afternoon as he tallied seven yards and a score off four attempts in their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He did not see a target in the passing game. After taking the backseat to Chris Rodriguez Jr. last weekend, McNichols returned to the No.2 role behind Austin Ekeler. McNichols salvaged his fantasy day by punching in a one-yard score in the third quarter. Even if Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) cannot return on Thursday evening, McNichols would again be considered a high-risk flex option, given his limited opportunities.
