Good luck this week.

Week 12 is really going to test your fantasy football strength, as the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars all are on bye. There are so many elite fantasy players off this weekend, making this potentially the most important waiver wire week of the season.

At FTN Fantasy, we have a Waiver Wire Tool that ranks the top waiver adds of the week, while also recommending the amount of FAAB you should use on each player. And every Tuesday, I’ll break down the top five players listed in the tool, giving you the best case for each highly ranked player. With all of the key injuries impacting fantasy rosters, being able to add key players off waivers is as crucial as ever.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 11

1. Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Yahoo! 60%, ESPN 69%

Jennings continues to make plays for the 49ers. Last week, in his second game back from a hip injury, Jennings operated as the lead wideout with George Kittle out, hauling in 10-of-11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown. He saw a whopping 39.2% target share and has now accounted for 22 of San Francisco’s 62 targets over the past two weeks, giving him a 35.4% target share during that span. In games where he has seen at least six targets this season, Jennings is averaging 24.9 PPR points per game. Brandon Aiyuk isn’t coming back this season, y’all. A must-start wide receiver somehow still isn’t 100% rostered in fantasy leagues. Change that immediately.

2. Taysom Hill, TE, New Orleans Saints

Yahoo! 53%, ESPN 46%

Hill, who has had one of the most unique careers we’ve seen in the NFL, just had one of the most unique games. The QB/TE/RB set career-highs in both catches (8) and targets (10), while also rushing for an insane 138 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries. Oh, and he also passed for 18 yards (and an interception, to be fair). Since returning from injury in Week 8, Hill is averaging 10.2 opportunities (carries + targets) per game as the Saints continue to use him in many different ways. And with Chris Olave out and no backup running back to speak of behind Alvin Kamara, that isn’t going to change any time soon. Hill is on bye in Week 12 but will be a must-start fantasy tight end the rest of the way.

3. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Cleveland Browns

Yahoo! 45%, ESPN 58%

Jeudy is coming off a massive game Sunday, catching 6-of-11 targets for 142 yards and a touchdown. Since Week 7, Jeudy is averaging nine targets per game, while Jameis Winston has unlocked this Cleveland passing attack. The Browns have also been more pass-happy since Winston took over at quarterback. Consider Jeudy a viable WR3 as long as Winston is under center.

4. Jaylen Warren, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Yahoo! 33%, ESPN 69%

Averaging a flex-worthy 13.5 touches per game over his past four contests, Warren is still available in nearly 70% of Yahoo leagues. It was a slow start for Warren, but he is healthy, and in Pittsburgh’s run-centric offense, should continue to see 12-14 touches each week, also continuing to play the majority of the third downs for the Steelers, giving him some added value in PPR formats.

5. Bo Nix, QB, Denver Broncos

Yahoo! 33%, ESPN 69%

Don’t look now, but the Offensive Rookie of the Year could reside in Denver. Nix is coming off a stellar game against Atlanta, completing 28-of-33 passes for a career-high 307 yards and four touchdowns. Since Week 5, the rookie has finished as a top-12 fantasy quarterback five times, and he’s now a top-10 signal caller in fantasy points per game on the season (18.2). He also continues to provide a solid rushing floor, averaging a healthy 5.7 rushing attempts and 26.8 rushing yards per game. Going forward, he’ll draw matchups against the Raiders, Browns, Colts, Chargers and Bengals.
