As the fantasy football season rolls on, situations change quickly week to week. Whether injuries, totals, game scripts, etc. the NFL landscape is constantly evolving. To help diagnose those changes weekly for fantasy football, I’ll highlight them using our amazing NFL Splits tool.

Kendrick Bourne, WR, San Francisco 49ers

As highlighted in 10 stats this week, Bourne is in a great spot. The buzz and public seem hell-bent on playing Bradon Aiyuk in this spot where he’ll draw Quinton Dunbar for much of the day. That is a matchup to avoid easily. Bourne has been a sure-handed target for Jimmy Garoppolo when Deebo Samuel has been off the field over the last two seasons. Against one of the league’s worst secondaries and a pass defense that ranks 30th in DVOA, Bourne is a fantastic play and leverage off Aiyuk if he becomes popular.

Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

A healthy and active John Brown means better things for Allen. The quarterback’s numbers across the board have increased when Brown is active. The receiver’s return happens at a perfect time with the Patriots’ top corner Stephon Gilmore now banged up with a knee injury. While Brown will likely avoid Gilmore for much of the day even if the corner is active, another weapon for Allen and a downgrade to the New England secondary help raise Allen’s floor and ceiling for this Sunday.

Jamaal Williams RB, Green Bay Packers

Williams gets another week as the lead back for Green Bay. The matchup against Minnesota is not a cakewalk like last week versus the Texans, but Williams’ role both on the ground and in the passing game adds to his floor and ceiling. Without Aaron Jones, Williams has averaged nearly 14 DK points per game. In a game where the weather could play a factor, Williams will get plenty of work as a rusher.

Demarcus Robinson, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

When the Chiefs have played in games without Sammy Watkins and been heavily favored, the usage pendulum has swung toward Demarcus Robinson. Robinson operates in an area where opposing teams look to attack a suspect, New York secondary. The Jets outside corners are the glaring weakness of that pass defense. Robinson is a sneaky punt option this week in DFS that will carry little to no ownership, with many preferring to roster Denzel Mims if paying down.
