TopProp Fantasy Sports is officially live, bringing you a new way to wager on fantasy football. Are you confident that you have the best team in your league? Great, bet on it. Are you confident that your league mate Bob is going to blow John out of the water this week? Great, bet on it.

Put down your group chat where you talk trash and put your money where your mouth is. That’s what TopProp gives you the ability to do. It also gives you the ability to wager on “Expert” leagues. These can be leagues made up of your favorite fantasy football analysts, industry experts, or anyone else you simply want to wager on. One of those leagues is made up of our experts here at FTN.

Each week, I will provide you with an update on the TopProp FTN Expert League, highlighting a key matchup to wager on, recapping the last week, and reviewing the current standings of the league.

Additionally, their recent launch of Battleground allows users to face off head-to-head in player-prop contests with pre-populated spreads set on their fantasy-point matchups. I will also provide two contests that I am eyeing for Week 10 on Battlegrounds and which way I lean..

Battleground Matchups of the Week | TopProp FTN Expert League

The first matchup is featured in this week’s Thursday Night showdown between the Dolphins and Ravens. I am siding with the veteran, Devonta Freeman. Getting four bonus points here seems like a complete misprice, as Freeman, contrary to popular belief, has been the more productive back over the last few weeks. He’s found paydirt in three consecutive games starting for the injured Latavius Murray. With Murray doubtful once again, we should confidently expect a similar role. His 13 carries last week marked a season-high, and he’s drawn three targets in back-to-back weeks, showing some immunity to game script.

In a game the Ravens could run away with, Freeman could see an ample number of carries, making him the far more appealing option, especially with the five bonus points.

If we’re talking about misprices, we have to talk about the Alvin Kamara versus A.J. Brown matchup, with Brown only a one-point underdog. WHAT?! Yeah, you read that right. On the season, Kamara is averaging 17.8 fantasy points in half-PPR settings compared to Brown’s 11.7 while being the clear focal point of the New Orleans offense. With a newfound role and 20-plus carry upside, he has some of the safest volumes in football.

Meanwhile, Brown is in a low-volume offense against a stingy Saints secondary and has experienced shaky quarterback play all season. This feels too good to be true, head to the lobby and load up on Kamara.

Week 10 Preview | TopProp FTN Expert League

There is a clear distinction between the best teams in the FTN Expert League and the worst, as one team sits at 8-1-0 and a pair at 7-2-0, while there is one lowly 0-9-0 team. Outside of these three teams, there’s a herd of teams sandwiched between 5-4-0 and 4-5-0.

One matchup this week that sticks out like a sore thumb is Jeff Ratcliffe (5-4-0) versus Matt Jones (4-5-0), separated in their projections by a mere 0.01, quite literally as close as they can possibly be projected. Both have elite quarterbacks in Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, making this one to keep an eye on.

Ray Garvin’s team will look to get back on track with the hopeful return of Aaron Rodgers, which should return life to his lineup and his Green Bay stack with Davante Adams. With both he and Chris Meaney sitting at 4-5-0, one team will get back to .500 and the other will sink to 4-6-0, dangerously out of the playoff picture. This stands out as a phenomenal matchup to wager on, as Garvin is favored by only five points with so much on the line.
